The most comprehensive global study on humankind’s impact on the planet has just been published, and it’s anything but good news. The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, con-ducted over 4 years by 1,300 scientists from 95 countries was released on Wednesday, and makes grim reading.

April 1. A day of pranks. The first full month of Spring (at least in the northern hemisphere). Most importantly for gamers, it's the beginning of the second quarter, where the pace and quality of releases begins to pick after the post-holiday fall off. Unfortunately, fans of one game aren't happy as the new quarter begins.

Because the game hasn’t received any patch love for several months, players were already in a twist. This announcement lead to some rants, raves and other displeased recourse. Can’t really blame the players, but I had the feeling that this was an inevitable outcome due to poor sales numbers for the title.
